Glasnow's final line: 4.1 IP, 3 hits, 4 runs, 2 walks, 6 strikeouts. The Brewers beat the Dodgers 6-4 and swept the NLCS.
Grading the read: the stuff read was right — he was perfect through three innings with all 6 strikeouts — but the early-hook risk we flagged in the pick post is exactly what landed. The fourth and fifth innings unraveled, he was pulled at 79 pitches, and the bet finished one strikeout short. The risk was named before the game; it beat us anyway.

Grading the read: at halftime he had 11 yards and it looked buried. Then Seattle had to chase the game, the targets funneled to their No. 1 receiver — the exact script the pick was built on — and he exploded past the number in the second half and overtime.

Grading the read: the read was right, the ending wasn't. Gasser was dealing — five scoreless innings and on pace — but he was pulled at just 72 pitches and finished one strikeout short. Bad luck, not a bad read.
✅ Canadiens @ Capitals OVER 6.5 goals (-115) — WON
Final: Washington 5, Montreal 4 — 9 total goals.
Grading the read: it played out the way the research said. Both teams were on the second night of a back-to-back, Montreal had a struggling backup in net, and both defenses had been leaking goals. The total cleared with room to spare.
✅ Nathan MacKinnon OVER 3.5 shots on goal (-150) — WON
MacKinnon finished with 4 shots on goal. Dallas won the game 3-2 in a shootout.
Grading it honestly: this was not a model pick. Our process passed this prop before the game — at -150 the price needed a 60% hit rate, and his recent form (4+ SOG in 3 of his last 5) sat right on that line instead of clearing it. It was placed on the owner's own call, it is in the public ledger like every bet we make, and tonight it cashed. The lesson stands either way: price discipline is the process.
